Isaac and Luke participated in a local Bay area Judo Tournament in Petalma, CA. This is Isaac's 3rd year to come back to Petalma, although this is Luke's first time. Isaac was in the pool with David (Teammate from Oakland Judo), and Jake from Vallejo Judo. Isaac had never lost to both of them until today. The division was, 9/10 year-old Orange/Yellow belt division. Isaac beat David, but Jake beat Isaac unexpectedly. Because David beat Jake and the way they win (different points are awarded), Isaac ended up at middle of the podium.
Luke pinned down a yellow belt for 20 seconds, with which he won the match, although he was thrown by another contestant. Luke ended up in the 2nd place with (1-1) score. This is his first medal in an official tournament, except receiving a participation medal.
They did well, but still need a lots of practice.
