Isaac's First Birthday and Baptism

Isaac turned 1! He turned 1 on January 25th and was baptized on the same day. It was a nice baptism and nice birthday. We had our family and few close friends over for a BBQ and potluck lunch. I actually made a cake, people said it was good but I am not convinced, maybe I am too critical of my own cooking:) He of course was spoiled with lots of clothes, toys and money. We started a bank account for him so he would have a savings account as he grows up.

He had tons of fun eating his first cake! I can't believe he is 1! And just to mention his favorite word is uh-oh, as he purposely drops things down the stairs.

Isaac in Japan

Over the Christmas Holidays we went to Japan to visit Masa's family and so Isaac could meet his aunt, uncle and cousins for the first time. We had a blast and Isaac loved his new place, this interesting place called Japan. He was able to go to a shrine, play in the snow and eat Ramen, which of course he loved, because he takes after me:) He went to his first public bath and decided he would do the pee-pee and I had to hurry him right out..

Isaac of course loved to walk everywhere, because at this point he is practically running. His auntie loved to hold him and his uncle loved to play with him, so did his cousins. We also had friends visit and we visited friends.

Long time..

Stingray City

Turtle Farm, Grand Cayman

Wow it has been a long time since I have put anything into the blog. But here is the latest. So during Thanksgiving time we went on a cruise with my family to Haiti, Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Cozumel. We had a blast, jet skiing, swimming with the stingrays, yes real stingrays and kayaking in the ocean. And of course eating all the wonderful food that I will never be able to cook:) Then we came back and it seems that our son has just taken off walking faster and faster everyday. Now we are heading to Japan so he can visit all his grandparents, aunt and uncles and cousins. So here are some pictures of our cruise and of course Isaac's walking skills:)

Have a great Holiday!

Isaac is taking his first steps

Isaac on Veteran's Day decided he was tired of crawling and he took his first 10 steps! Watch out world here he comes... I am in for it aren't I? :) And he is only 9 1/2 months, aahh! Here is a video of some short steps. We haven't been able to catch him doing the 10 steps or more, we are always to slow with the video camera. Also here is a video of the tough life of Isaac:)

So a friend from work got him this toy at the baby shower last year. It is for his age and up. So we decided to get it ready this weekend. Here is a video of him traveling with it.

Halloween Time

So it was Isaac's first Halloween and I decided to dress him up as a dragon, well at least I think it is a dragon, but Masa says it is a dinosaur. Let us know what your verdict is.

He was able to participate in my school parade which he was so confused as to what was going on. Here are some pictures.

It has been a while..

I have been busy with work and family life but I have found some time to sit down and post some more pictures. He is now walking along the furniture and he is working on his 6th tooth. He is starting to eat some regular food small pieces at a time. Here are some pictures of past events with friends and family. Also last weekend he was on the playground swing and loved it!
