Christmas 2011

We had our family from Japan come and visit us for Christmas till New Year's Eve.  It was a short trip but very eventful and fun.  We went to my sister's house for Christmas Eve and Christmas and our Japanese family was able to enjoy Italian-American food and an American Christmas.  We also went to SF and did some tourist things there.  They plan to visit again in summer when Baby boy #2 is born. 

Isaac's First Ice Skating

Isaac and Daddy got to spend some time over break with each other and they were able to go to Ice Skating in Downtown Oakland.  Isaac had a blast and was not afraid to Ice Skate.  He of course was with Daddy the whole time but did very well walking on his own on the mat.  He has expressed going again, maybe this is something he will love to do?  We will see:)

Halloween Fun

Isaac had a fun time participating in craft activities and jumpy house fun at the Piedmont Ave Halloween Festival. He was able to do Jumpy houses, face painting, free hot dogs and free pumpkins. It was our first time and really fun! He also got to trick or treat for the first time on Halloween night. He was very excited!

October Fun

Isaac and I went to Ardenwood Farm to see the animals. We went with friends of ours and enjoyed a very nice and warm October day. Isaac and I also went pumpkin picking and of course Isaac had to ride the big slide and do the jumpy houses. You will see Isaac flying down the slide, with a big smile and laugh.

Summer Fun

We had some summer fun with friends. Isaac loves to swim! We had a nice end of the summer BBQ/Potluck.

Friends visiting...

We had some visitors come by during the month of July. First it was the Chin family from LA. We had fun visiting with them and seeing their new doggy. Isaac had fun playing with Loryn.

Then at the end of July, Grandma and Grandpa (Baba and Jiji) visited from Japan. We went to SF and Oregon to visit Masa's host family. They were here for three weeks visiting and spending time with Isaac. We went to Oregon and saw the coast line and of course had to make a stop at the Tillamook cheese factory. It is a tradition:)

Isaac's Barbershop Day

Isaac used to hate his haircut but now he thinks it is fun and enjoys looking at himself in the mirror. Have we created a monster?
