We went to the zoo the day before Easter to see all the animals. We took his little buddy Camden who is the same age (5 days older). Isaac has been showing interest in his animal books so I thought it would be fun for him to check out the real animals. Well not as I expected, he didn't seem all that interested in the animals. He did have fun petting the goats at the petting zoo. Camden was more talkative that day and trying to say the word lion. We also took the boys on the train ride, th
ey had fun on the ride.

Isaac and his tackling dayview

Isaac is such a boy lately, with his jungle gym acrobats and crawling all over us. We finally caught his silliness on camera. His new thing is to get up onto the couch and read or I should say look at his books. We are going to try to take him to the zoo this Saturday so he can see the animals. Lately he has been calling all the animals he sees Coco, which is the dog at the daycare. He even calls Junior our bird, Coco.

Bathtime!!
.jpg)
Well I just wanted to give a quick update on Isaac. Isaac is continuing to learn new things everyday. He recently learned to climb the couch and get back down, well most of the time:) He also is improving upon his verbal language. He now says Dada, Coco (dog at the daycare and all animals at this point), shoe, go and I think down. It is not completely clear if he is saying down or not.
He loves his bath time. He likes to play with his favorite fish. I think he likes the squirting action:) This might be a blackmale photo later on :)

Isaac MLB Pitcher
Isaac has been perfecting his pitching skills, so one day he can be in the MLB. He loves to play with his daddy's baseball. He especially likes to throw his yellow, green, blue and red balls down the stairs. He likes hearing the plink, plink, plink down the stairs. Here are some videos of his throwing skills.

Isaac and his buddy Junior
Isaac and Junior trying to play with each other, but both are somewhat scared of each other.
Isaac and his Lightning McQueen Car (from the movie Cars) One of his favorite toys.
Isaac eats very well. Right now he eats carrots, apples, chicken sticks, meat sticks, turkey sticks, mac and cheese, tofu, strawberries, bananas, peas, etc. He eats toddler entrees and then some. He has a hearty appetite. He tries anything you put in front of him. He also has been learning to use his juice cup, which he is getting better at doing, but still a little clumsy.
Who does he look like?

Isaac's First Birthday and Baptism
Isaac turned 1! He turned 1 on January 25th and was baptized on the same day. It was a nice baptism and nice birthday. We had our family and few close friends over for a BBQ and potluck lunch. I actually made a cake, people said it was good but I am not convinced, maybe I am too critical of my own cooking:) He of course was spoiled with lots of clothes, toys and money. We started a bank account for him so he would have a savings account as he grows up.
He had tons of fun eating his first cake! I can't believe he is 1! And just to mention his favorite word is uh-oh, as he purposely drops things down the stairs. .JPG)
